All about CSSA Exemptions
The CSSA Exemption Application Process
Should a student wish to be exempt from completing a particular course they should apply directly to the CSSA as the exemption is granted at the institutions discretion. On approval of the exemption the student should then enrol for the relevant examinations within one year of the exemption having been granted otherwise they will have to apply for the second time and pay another exemption fee.
Students with a National Qualification from NQF level 5 upwards and foreign qualifications could qualify students for exemption from certain subjects. Exemption for short courses may also be granted where extensive work experience is evident.
Please note that applications will only be processed if they are accompanied by a proof of payment.
